Physics at U of S: The Past, Present and
Future Department of Physics & Engineering Physics

October 5-6, 2005
In celebration of the
World Year of Physics 2005, we are hosting a symposium which brings together
alumni, current faculty and students of Physics and Engineering Physics at

afternoon sessions with seminars from alumni of the 1950s, current faculty,
and students of the Physics & Engineering Physics Department. We also
plan to organize campus tours, including the Canadian Light Source, to which
the Betatron of the Saskatchewan Accelerator Lab
was the predecessor. The venue for the Symposium will be room 241 Arts
(formerly known as
the Place Riel Theatre). We announce with the greatest sadness that the Public Lecture on
October 5 has been cancelled. |
