RECOMMENDED TEXTBOOK:
- Physics for Scientists and Engineers with Modern Physics, 8th Edition, by Serway, Jewett (Brooks/Cole Cengage Learning).

- A Laboratory Manual for Physics 117.3/125.3 (revised 2008).

- Supplemental material: Student Solutions Manual to accompany above textbook.

 

TUTORIALS:
Tutorials will be held before the mid-term and final examinations. Time, date and location can be found in section schedule.

SCHEDULE:
Weekly assignments, mid-term exam and Final exam.
The Final exam will take place in April (to be announced).

EVALUATION: The final grade will be calculated the following way:
Assignments: 15 %

Laboratories: 15%
Mid-Term exam: 20 %
Final exam: 50 %
