Careers in Physics and Engineering Physics
A degree in physics or engineering physics can lead to careers in a wide range of fields, including optics, wireless communications, electronics, medical physics, astronomy, software development, finance, control systems, and education.

Graduates in the work force reported that the most rewarding aspects of their current positions were the challenge of solving interesting and complex problems, working with people, seeing a project yield a successful and useful product, and developing new methods, processes and designs.

Graduates from the U of S physics and engineering physics programs are currently working for companies such as Nortel Networks and JDS Uniphase.
